When uploaded to pro rip do your have to choose sublimation? Or what type of paper? For some reason my icolor550 won’t print on white paper. Only prints when I put in two step.

(Or maybe I'm yet) Tell me how much ? Do you deliver in France ? Can we change the toner everytime we need with no problem? We use regular sheet means like for print and photocopy ? For Real ? I have a sublimation printer too but this makes me ... need it !

I think this video misrepresents "regular" sublimation. The cost of entry with inkjet sublimation is much, much lower than laser ($500 vs $5000 for letter size printing; $2000 vs $14000 for 13x19). Transfers onto hard substrates is also going to be much better from inkjet sublimation because there's no "fog" from the toner (which usually has to be cleaned or else it looks dull). The vibrancy from Sawgrass ink is far superior than most toner-based systems, too. So, yes, while being able to convert to sublimation on your toner system is nice, the results aren't nearly as good as going with an inkjet sublimation system.

Not sure where you saw $10,000. Brand new the printer with RIP is $3995. The Sublimation cartridge kits is about $1,200 if you decide to get it. I just bought a 550 for $3,200 shipped from a guy a few states away with about 500 sheets of transfer material with 8 months left on the warranty. Plenty on the used market.
