White Wastes - 'Of Monsters and Men' screenprinted concert poster process

A video showing some of the process behind screenprinting a concert poster for the Icelandic band 'Of Monsters and Men', designed and hand-printed by graphic designer and printmaker Graham D. Pilling, of the UK.
For those unaware of screenprinting - a stencil is created on a stretched mesh screen for each individual colour of the design. If the artist is making an edition of 50, then 50 copies of the first colour layer are printed, then allowed to dry; the next colour screen is set up and 50 of that colour is printed on the previous prints. The process continues for each colour, with each sheet carefully registered to make sure the colours line up correctly to form the final image.
Because of the hand-crafted nature of the process, each print may contain its own tiny variations, making each a unique piece of art.
The print you see in this video is an edition of 50 concert posters, and a very limited run of 25 artprints, featuring just the artwork and no text.
