My main setup is a 7’ MH shimano curado rod and Daiwa ballistic 2500 with 10lb sunline sx1.

When is the best time to fish whitebass at High Rock Dam? Is it deep enough for me to run a pontoon Boat up there? What lures are you using?

I would say right now is still a good time to catch bigger ones and mid summer the smaller ones should show up on top water.

Depends on the water release but generally you just gotta watch where you’re going and have your prop up a little higher and you should be fine. I just throw jerkbaits and 3” swimbaits.

@@StriperPursuit would you mind telling me about your fishing kayak setup. What do you have? I was thinking of getting one

@@TomParnelle I don’t have any fancy or expensive setup, in fact I think I have the cheapest Amazon pedal kayak. I use the riot mako 10’. I would not recommend it lol. Buy a hobie or something else cuz cheap ones are frustrating. Everything else is stock on my yak tho.
