Dude, I love the newer Whitechapel shit, mostly because Phil went through so much in his life and I love how he opens up about his demons in his music. Both of his parents were drug addicts and died when he was young and he was put into foster care at a young age and when he hit adulthood he pretty much went full time with white chapel. I had the pleasure of meeting him a couple times and having a conversation with him and I have nothing but respect for him and the whole band. I've shed tears listening to this song. It hits such a mark and I love that a scene that is so hard will grab me and make sure I'm okay and comfort one another through music. God bless, and much love.

I don't think phil even knows what it was, but he said he thinks it was a heart attack. And he was never put into a foster home, or foster care, he lived with his grandparents after the age of 15 when his mom died.
