as usual, you did a great job mary! your home is beautiful. i too, splurged and bought a flocked tree. i bought a real big one 2 yrs ago, but it is too big for my living room. so, i put it in my bedroom and did farm house decorations. it looks great. it's just flocked on the tips of the branches and has pine cones on it. beautiful tree. this year i bought a slim flocked tree for my living room and since my living room is my favorite style, victorian, that's how i decorated it. just started last night. still have more to do. but, i am loving it. so glad i bought it. hope you and yours have a wonderful holiday season. see you next week.

Love your calm and minimal taste. The monochromatic white everywhere takes very little pops of color to work. Beautiful with bringing natural elements (branches and pinecones ) in and you surprised me using rope as garland....just goes to show if a person is low on money you can still pull off a wonderful look!
