The most inspiring part of this video is your relationship with John. A lot of couples can't do projects together, but he's so supportive of all your ideas. Imagine doing fun creative work beside your partner while the rain comes down... so lovely!!

I have always loved thunderstorms, but in June a thunderstorm turned into a tornado and we lost our camper, and our camp house was damaged to the point that it had to be torn down. We were about to start building a house here, and it would have also been destroyed, so God was looking after us that we had not yet started to build. We were living between the camp house and the camper and are in another camper now full-time. We are cleaning it all up and preparing to build our new house. Thankfully no one was injured and insurance took care of us. All of that is to say that the thing I miss most of all is the beauty of thunderstorms. Now I have a bit of apprehension when a storm comes up as we were (safe, thank the Lord) in my parent's home next door during the storm. I hope that I can get past the fear again and see the beauty. Maybe once our house is built and we are no longer in a camper. 😅

Mary, you're truly an inspiration! I'd like to share with you a story about a dear friend of mine. Linda loved antiques and rented a booth at our local antique store to sell her treasures. She spent many hours searching for just the right items. In 2017 a tornado swept through our little town and one of the buildings it destroyed was the antique store. I salvaged what I could find for her. The following year she was diagnosed with cancer. So you see she never got the chance to go back to doing the things she loved. I know the storm you went through has left you leary to try again but I do hope you can find it in you to do just that. You obviously put your heart and souls into all of your projects and I believe you'd love to share that at the outdoor shows again. I'm not sure where you are but I'd be front and center to see it all in person. Storms come and go and we rebuild, plant new trees and begin again. Let's do what we can while we still can. Thank you so much for sharing your many talents. Blessings to you and your family! 😊
