I grew up with these guys. My dad ALWAYS had a cassette in the tape deck. I like to tell people that these were some of my first hymns.

This song would also be awesome instrumental version. Rex Carrol is a hell of a guitarist.

Bold lyrics that still speak to the heart, and Rex Carroll is as good as any famous Rock guitarist. I recall a teen boy who early in his Senior year of high school made the most important decision you can make by saying "Yes" to the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior. Though the kid thought he understood it all, truth is he only understood that For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. When sharing his faith the boy was ALL zeal and NO tact. LOL. But make no mistake about it, that kid would've faced the guillotine for Christ, and the kid would've been preaching the cross as the blade dropped on his neck. I miss that boy. He came to visit me this morning, albeit in my memories.

I've loved this since the early 90's,someone stole my CD it was on ,called extremely loud guitar disc. I'm so happy to see younger people still enjoying it. also, helps me feel less alone

Tonya Neville I still have a CD, but just checked itunes, the album is 9.99, you could buy it there. It is on my phone along with a few other Whitecross albums. I remember Scott would often scream, "How y'all doin' tonight?" at concerts.

Ratt + Stryper = Whitecross. Scott Wenzel sounded *a lot* like Steven Pearcy. This whole album is great - and also a lesson in how important image is. -Whitecross simply didn't look like rockstars - especially Rex.

So I wasn't the only one to make the RATT sound-alike connection.
@greggaxley83902 жыл бұрын
A lot of people called them the Christian version of RATT. 😂But I’ll also add the fact this is what RATT would sound like if George Lynch was the guitarist. Rex is on that level, no question about it. And the drummer with the double bass drums? Best Christian band of the 80’s.
