I did something similar with a wood table. My table is cut in two parts and I used latches to put it together around the pole. I can use the same table inside and out if needed. So much easier.

Thanks so much for all the tips. Tent footprint, opening and leaving open the doors and windows, and more. Really appreciate, will make our first time setting ours up a little less of a headache.

I have a similar tent. I think it’s 19 1/2 feet. It sounds great and it is except I never considered that some of the public campgrounds don’t have a footprint for such a large tent. It is an awesome tent though. I can also be set up in about 20 minutes. If you haven’t done it already, the air conditioner idea works very well. I did the same thing. One piece of advice, open a window. I nearly collapsed our tent. Within seconds of zipping the door shut, two guy ropes pulled out. We had to run it with a couple of windows open. My windows appear to be smaller than yours though. Good luck! You’ll love your awesome tent!

The footprint may be an issue. I've never thought about that in a campground setting. Some reservations will tell you the dimensions of the tent pad. I did take it out again and it took only 20 minutes to setup. The tarp underneath was awesome. Prevented me from having to set it up at home to dry it out.

Freaking genius with the table in center! I will do the same! Thanks for sharing

I suggest a larger hole in the center of the table. Mine is a bit too small. I will be increasing mine by a quarter inch in diameter.

Really appreciate the review! That center table idea is so smart! My wife and I have considered a pop up trailer but I think I would like to go with one of these instead. A lot less $ and a great amount of space

An old trampoline jumping mat probably would work great underneath , since it won't hold standing water and is durable . Also would work good for floorless tents or lay on top of your floor inside. It will help cleaning the debris out . However Even A 16 foot trampoline mat is only about 15 foot in diameter.

Hi,,great video. I’m getting exact same tent, any idea what total foot print is including guy ropes? I’m a little concerned about tent site accommodations but will probably do more “unofficial site” camping Thanks

It's a 16ft 6inch round tent. Camp grounds with tent pads may be an issue, but I mostly camp in unimproved campsites with scouts. I got to say I was able to sleep later in the mornings with this tent because the thick canvas blocked light very well.

Absolutely. But no open flames in the tent. I can't promise you the type of devastation that could happen.

How long did it take you to put up? And were you able to do it by yourself?

It took 45 minutes my first try. That was by myself. This included adding the table mod. My second attempt was about 20 minutes.

How is the floor attached to the wall? Is it velcro or a zipper? Any gaps?

I think it's sown in. I'm thinking once that floor gets worn, it would be no problem cutting it out and just laying a new one down. But if you use the ground tarp down before each use, you'll increase the life of the floor. But I'll tell you, it'll take a long time to wear it out. I'm sure the canvas would wear out first. Also, I use a fireproof mat for my stove or heaters. Find them on Amazon.
