Pile 3: Wow, you're the first person I've heard convey this idea, at least so directly, that I've only recently begun to understand for myself. That our emotional trauma can actually wound us physically. When you carry it so deep it's like there's no other way for it to manifest or express itself. This has been a big part of what I've had to learn how to heal for myself, and I've seen through my own experience how those physical manifestations can actually disappear when you heal the underlying emotional wound. It almost seems like magic at times but really I think it reflects a deeper truth about the nature of our being and the interconnectivity of our physical / emotional / energetic bodies. I’ve had a crazy experience with what you’re talking about! I’ve had pretty intense joint pain since I was a teenager- last year I experienced a crazy amount of ptsd flashbacks and I found after each one my physical pain diminished to the point where it rarely affects me now! Pretty amazing. There’s a book called “The Body Keeps the Score” by Bessel Vander Kolk, MD that really breaks it down. Best of luck to you in your healing! ❤️
