Pile #2: perfect advice for today! Neither of us has ever had unconditional support for the things we do: he has so many childhood traumas without support for any of his passions. My career has always been about achieving material goals (not spiritual satisfaction). This is the first time either of us has ever experienced unconditional support for the things we love from another person. It’s definitely terrifying but the trust that we’ve built over the last two years has been profound. We check in with each other throughout the day and offer support: he sends so many words of encouragement for important meetings. Pile #2 I finally understand why our connection was not working, and am coming to terms and accept what it is. I am making an effort to continue to talking and walking my self away from this, because I was once afraid. I am person who needs depth. Pile 2 wow gaslighting so resonates with me! I literally told him he was gaslighting me today when he called me jealous of his ex he turns everything around on me. He sees no fault in his actions. He never even appologized for all the damage and pain he caused me. He’s so heartless. Instead he wanted to string me along and say oh maybe one day we will talk again. No thanks, I’m not your second choice buddy. I’ll find someone who appreciates me .He basically pushed me away over and over until I got the hint he was not interested. He slowly walked away. He kept talking about his ex and then blame it on me because I said you talk about her a lot but he did. Every time I saw him he did. He kept saying he wanted closure from her and would write her a letter and then try to throw out her stuff. One day he said she was going to come over to get her tent but he didn’t think it was a good idea because she still wants to have sex with him so he mailed the tent back. He just kept getting more distant. Then this last week he didn’t ask to see me at all but he let his ex come to his house. The one he said he was done with, the one that wants to have sex with him. So I got out of his way now. He always made me feel like I was a burden to him. He would tell me I take up to much of his time, he has no time for a relationship. He was so cold. I feel like I was taken advantage of by a narcissist. It just hurts because I’m an empath and that is all I keep meeting is narcissists. I just have to stop blaming myself for being fooled by him. He was a great liar. We did just break up. He prefers being around people like his ex who take advantage of him. I’m sure he is moving away from me too because I’m moving from him. I guess I just wanted to watch this one last time to see why he was so mean and cold to me. He never lets anyone near him, he never gave me a chance now he will never know if it could of worked out he only showed me his bad side. I saw his good side for a week then he turned on me. When it said “your person” I was thinking future wise and after I picked the deck and started listening I realized it is someone I know now.. Pile 1 & 6 were spot on. We've both pulled back some but I dont feel like it's an end just a regrouping. He seems more hesitant than me but we have a sexual tension I've never felt before and he has been telling me how much he enjoys talking with me.
