Such a good lesson, I had this 90 percent right by ear but this lesson finessed it . Great stuff, now how about the solo, surely one of the greatest ever!

The biggest thing that gets me in your videos is how incredibly versatile the Dual Rectifier is.

Mike, thanks a lot for the video. NOW, when i play the song, it's sooooooo "full" that I almost can grab it on the air LOL. What a sound!

Of course the 2020 remastered version from the Blues Album clarifies and confuses me more on what those opening chords are.

John Sykes was a badass. David Coverdale was a dick for firing him and replacing him with Steve Vai on the 87’ album. Good lesson as always though mike \m/

Mike I have to play a song for my guitar class final in 2 weeks and I don't know what to play for it. I want to play a rock or classic rock song and I want it to be super easy since I don't have a ton of time. Could you make any suggestions?
@jpwood72379 жыл бұрын
Enter Sandman isn't difficult at all. Well, if you just stick to rhythm. Solo is probably pretty difficult. Talk Dirty to Me by Poison is super easy lead and rhythm. You Shook Me All Night Long, We're not gonna take it(super easy solo), Eye of the Tiger, Iron Man, Paranoid are all pretty easy rhythmically.

Nice lesson, but why not make it easier on yourself by playing the C and B chords on the E and A strings? No need for the jump
