Wow, Id just found out this song was intended for Tina Turner. David Coverdale (lead singer) confirmed the story and informed when the label heard the song (which was intended for a female to sing) the label highly suggested the band keep the song for themselves.

Tawny Kitaen used to come into the store where I was working on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood back in the 80s, and she was always a real sweetheart. All of us guys loved her, and she knew it, but she was always so nice about it. lol So sad about her dying too young.
