Had a hard time keeping the tears from my eyes watching this. We are seeing the passing of the greatest generation of rock that ever has been or ever will be. For roughly 20 years from the late ‘60s to the end of the ‘80s, this kind of music ruled the world, and for many of us, it still does. We wish you well, David!

Steve Perkins how right you are. I lived through those times and saw all the top bands. Also lived through radio Caroline and the radio caroline roadshows all over Kent and Essex. Spent 5 years beginning of the 70s at college. A huge rockband played most weekends. London wasnt far either. However, although WE are witnessing the end of an era, this music will always remain with us. I thank the Lord that i lived through those times. Funny thing is best live concert i ever saw was Foreigner 10 years ago in germany where i live

Amen... The culture of the 70's and 80's is what bred such great, and creative musicians. That culture is long gone. As a matter of fact there really is no culture....just hate, and social justice/woke statements. It's a very odd time in the business. There are more technically proficient players than ever (KZbin is full of 12yr-old music prodigies)....but NO ONE can write a song. No one can actually create. All they can do is play something faster than whomever they're copying, and at a younger age than the last generation (then film themselves doing it on KZbin). A bunch o kids pressing buttons....that's music now.... It's incredibly sad.

I’ll never forget it he ended up throwing his sticks away and still played incredibly with his hands (which I had never before seen) eventually totally destroying his drum kit in a crowd stunning finish to their set. I can’t remember who was the first band (killed to many brain cells over years of concerts) but MONTROSE wAs the headliner. And here her is 22 years into a new century still kicking ass and taking numbers. One of the “Greatest Drummers Ever”. And pretty durable I might add. Hell half of the other great ones are gone now. @@grd5150 Totally awesome!!!! Was more into Ian Gillan DP stuff, then Blackmore's RAINBOW. My brother saw some of the earlier Snake shows!!!! Wish Coverdale and Page would do an encore!

Jesus , how awesome is Tommy Aldridge?! He is still on top of his game , I have seen him with Pat Travers and Ozzy , next to Neil Peart , Tommy is my favorite drummer ........ 71 fuckin yrs old! If you can tolerate Coverdales vocals , the tour is worth seeing , just to see an iconic hard rock drummer of the likes of Tommy .....
@Straydogger2 жыл бұрын
Yep. I find I watch Tommy more than the others if he's on screen. David's vocals are not what they used to be for sure. It's a damn shame.

It's a great band but having seen David in his prime in the 70's and 80's this is topping up the bank account and pension.

Dino and Joel are the 2 best hired guns in the music industry. I loved their version of the song “Jane” with Portnoy on drums! They took that tune to another level! Dino is a multi talented rock God!

I first saw Tommy Aldridge over 50 years ago with Black Oak Arkansas opening for Sabbath. He kicked ass then and kicks ass now. A force of nature.

This is the best lineup Whitesnake has ever had. The two keyboardists and backup singers really complement David's vocals and strengthen the band's sound overall.

I am still in love with Rock in Rio line up. The only one brilliant heavy guitar by Sykes and artsy Powell!
@Lee-nh2nb2 жыл бұрын
Mmmm, gotta say I disagree. The definitive line up was in my opinion was Bernie Marsden, Micky Moody, Neil Murray and Ian Paice.
