Will the WHS seed offerings be limited to switch grass, fall green blend, and brassica blend?
@whitetailhabitatsolutions9751 Жыл бұрын
Hi Kyle! We have 14 of my blends I handcrafted...switch, screening, poor soil, brassica, clover, green blend, ground cover, pollinator, annual/perennial, plow down...we will also sell large quantity orders of buckwheat and annual rye. All based on my own food plot blends and research going back to the 90s 😊 within 2 weeks!

Jeff, If it as a new plot, can you do a 50/50 blend of Tillage Radish and Austrian peas to establish soil? If so, at that ratio would you do 50lbs of peas/acre instead of the usual 100lbs you recommend?

Jeff what will be more effective that the green/Rye setup. Neighbors double crop over 100acres of rye so I'm considering corn/sorghum/other to get the level of attraction back on the farm

Sure a good time to buy seed.sometimes you can't get it.i always try to order no later than march.don't plant til aug.or later but i want it on hand.for the most part.buck wheat ,switch grass ,sorgum, peas n clover.usually early.

Purchased the WHS fall green blend and brassicas. It all turned out very good. Besides the deer for some reason are not interested in the brassicas, planted 2 seasons on a rotation. Won’t be planting them again, thinking about doing late planted beans next year while the neighbors ag fields will be corn.

In u.p. have lots of soft masses theN after nothing. Gonna plant some apples and pears. Gonna keep planting hard masses. Need to open property to get more fooliage for fall and winter. Like roadside blends. There is a reason you see deer feeding side of road. We are gluten free. So buckwheat, oats, and red clover are my favorites.

Is there more information on your seed? It would be nice to see things like seeding method, preferred soil type, annual or perennial. For example I was going to purchase some of your Deer fence, but all I can find on the website is that its a screening blend. Is it switch grass blend, Egyptian wheat, something else? can I frost seed it, will it tolerate wet soil, will it even grow in my area?
