Thanks for the info and suggestions. Look forward to checking out the toe socks you mentioned and the spacers since I’m already a fan of barefoot shoes. However, I’m returning my whitin’s I recently bought and getting another pair of five fingers instead. These would be great though for beginners or as a seasonal shoe like you mentioned. ☺️

Did you ever have the ball of your foot become sore with these after taking out the insoles? I have been wearing these for about 2 days and after a long walk in them the balls of my feet feel like they have been carpet burned, they sting. It seems to be the ball of my foot is slipping and rubbing on the sole each time I step. Does this mean the shoes are too big?

I only wear them for short periods, like going for the evening. I never use them as regular shoes for longer periods.
