A great result John and it looks like beautiful weather. When I can’t get out fishing myself,I really enjoy virtual fishing trips with you.

Nice session there John. That wind came on before the beers though!! Never had grunter, what's it like to eat - what's your go to way?

Good feed, John, on a day where moving from spot to spot paid dividends.

Yep - I fished from Carrara reach to the Council Chambers. I found there were a lot of smaller whiting about (25 - 26 cm) but I was chasing them over the 30cm.

We love your adventures on this one sorry name of boat ramp area and yes we do wish you Luck every time 😂

Hi Jeffery - The Boat Ramp was the Carrara Road Boat Ramp. Not many parks so get there early on weekends.

Hi John. I love watching your videos and they have certainly helped me find great fishing locations. In this one I couldn’t make out what you said the rod you caught the first Grunter on was. I would really appreciate knowing as I’m always on the lookout for a new rod. Sadly, the Jimmy Crane’s are out of production, but this other one looks like it will do the job for me.

Hi Peter - It was a Jarvis Walker Sensor tip rod. It was a rod I received from my Uncle. Pretty old and it definitely fishes different to the Jimmy Cranes.

Be careful with this video mate. Barred grunter are 40cm legal

Hey Karl. These are not Barred Grunter - They are Small Spotted Grunter or some people call them Silver Grunter - Legal size 30cm.
