I think that’s the point. Whitney made a point of that the other day with the sympathy cards. Only Sharon addressed zac in the card no one else. It’s not Eastenders being anti men, it’s showing that in reality a lot of the time, people do tend to only ask how the mother is doing after the loss of a child and never the father.

Hmmmmm.......baby loss. I wonder if it's something that anybody else commenting on this clip has actually experienced? This isn't Whitney's first baby loss, which will be compounding her feelings. Before 24 weeks your baby isn't legally recognised (doesn't help!) and she's been forced to return to work before she feels ready; there isn't a 'one size fits all' when it comes to grief and it's effects on people should never be under-estimated. Plus they conceived through a one night stand so are still very much just getting to know each other.....my point being that baby loss can really take it's toll even on the strongest and most solid of relationships when partners have been together for significant time and know each other well, especially if the two parents concerned need to grieve in very different ways. And boys; no matter how strong the lady you got pregnant seems and no matter how much she says she doesn't need you - she does! Zack did run a mile at first, he wasn't always there when he should have been.... A lot of factors at play here is all I'm saying.
