I love this. It's so wonderful to see great artists pay tribute to each other. It's a testament to Michael's artistry that when these amazing singers - Stevie Wonder - Whitney Houston - sing his songs in tributes to him, they copy his vocal mannerisms. That means they didn't only know his music, they listened to it like true fans - repeatedly until they knew every nuance. I've heard him called "Your favorite singer's favorite singer". He really was magical, and even the big stars felt it.

I think the problem Whitney had was that every time she sang she heard her old voice in her head and she thought she still do what she did in the past. Honestly she really didn't have to hit any high notes. If I were her I would have taken I always love you out of the show. Some fans would have been mad but they would have lived!
