I always loved Whitney Houston. I am surprised to hear that this beautiful, talented woman struggled with rejection from men, self worth, and self esteem issues. She was just like the rest of us. Looking for love in the wrong places. She wanted so much to be loved, and cared for and listened to. Her coping skill was drugs but....deep down Whitney was a precious soul and her life ended so tragically. I wished she had known her worth , and realized she deserved so much better than the ones who mistreated her. My heart breaks for her.
@DjFreethesheep

But the 1 true love for her, a real lover was cast out from the evil ways of christianity.. If only she was able to just LOVE the right way. Heavy drug use might have not been a thing. As we all saw, after Robin was pulled away from her.. The world saw that deep lost in her soul🫣 let people love, let people LOVE😞🌸

@@DjFreethesheepThe "evil ways of Christianity"? Christianity supposedly preaches GOD'S WORD. GOD is the entity responsible for the creation of this PLANET and ALL creatures living on it! The very fact that YOU open your eyes in the morning and don't die in your sleep is because of GOD! The EVIL is only from what humans' hands have put forth. NO ONE human can change GOD'S WORD---though they certainly have succeeded in creating all kinds of LIES about HIM. HE said "NO" to homosexuality in any form. That is it AND that is all. Human Beings are selfish, greedy, obstinate, disobedient, ungrateful creatures. Pairing up with another gay person would not have necessarily guaranteed Whitney's happiness. She would have struggled with the insecurity and hypocrisy of stating she loves & respects GOD, BUT then leading a homosexual lifestyle. People LIE to themselves; make up excuses to do as they please; GOD gave humans free will. HE WANTS you to CHOOSE him and his WORD, to be obedient & grateful; NOT to go against HIM.

@jojobanks8857
@jojobanks8857 4 жыл бұрын
Ben McGuire that’s not true. Whitney was born in 1963, which would make her 56 years old if she was still alive. Robyn is 58 years old. They met when Whitney was 17 and Robyn was 19.
@xTheBisexualPhoenix

Ben McGuire Thank you! I’m a bisexual woman as well, and I hate that people do not care that Robyn preyed on Whitney. They only care when it’s men that age with girls that age, but as soon as it’s a woman with a girl, they ignore it. If Robyn were male, everyone would be outraged right now and calling him all kinds of disgusting (as they should). I was sexually abused (and groomed) by females when I was younger, and I hate how the world thinks it’s normal. Whitney Houston probably thought it was normal as well, because no one believes women can be predatory. Thank you for caring, Ben 💜

Something I wish people would remember is Robyn never outed Whitney. It was Pat & Gary who outed her so all Robyn is doing is adding clarity to the situation. Her name was dragged into it so she’s entitled to tell her side of the story. She was silent for years & that speaks volumes on her character. I believe she truly loved Whitney & wanted the best for her.

I suppose with her being one of the most desirable Black Woman at the height of her career, she could have had any Man. But that she was rejected, and treated with little or no respect from these Men, I suppose she was looking for love and the Love came without stipulation, from another Woman.Who am I to judge. Anyway, we lost a beautiful Queen, who never got to love as she wanted to love. Yes I agree but in actuality she was only b one that truly had her back. She was in essence the gatekeeper of her heart and Whitney's family couldn't misuse and abuse her the way they wanted so they did all they could to remove her from Whitney's life. And as we saw in the same documentary that's when everything fell apart. Too many heads got involved, her brothers got full access to her , and drug use got out of control. The brother that she trusted the most introduced her to the hard drugs without any remorse. He was way too nonchalant can about it, in my opinion.

Robyn hasn't done anything wrong. She truly loved Whitney and it's that simple. It's Robyn's prerogative to tell her side of the story. Perhaps, you may not agree with her choice, but that doesn't mean she's desperate for attention or using Whitney's name in vain. She has good vibes and intentions. Money doesn't seem to be a motive, either. She's genuinely heartbroken. Whitney and Bobby was an arranged marriage and nothing more. Bobby didn't destroy Whitney, because she had prior issues. Cissy was a controlling matriarch with a mean streak. I believe the stories about her second cousin, which was Dionne Warwick's sister. Aretha Franklin was not Whitney's Aunt or her godmother. She made that perfectly clear, especially after Whitney's passing. So, it was never true. Aretha didn't even attend her funeral, because her ankles were swollen and she was touring at the time. Perhaps, her reason was valid or even the truth for that matter. One thing is certain, Hollywood is a rabbit hole of twists and turns. You must navigate the grey area with caution to discern the truth.

I was ABSOLUTELY OBSESSED with Whitney growing up! I couldn't wait for "The Greatest Love of All" to play on the radio & never tired of hearing Whitney's voice sing it. I 1st heard of her from "Saving All My Love For You". I WANTED her voice SO BAD! NO ONE (not even Mariah) came along after her, to replace THAT VOICE. She is one of the GREATEST recording artists of ALL time. Who can ever forget her rendition of "I Will Always Love You?" and her famous interpretation of the National Anthem? I get goosebumps even NOW listening to it. She is THE ONLY singer to give me goosebumps/shivers up the spine (in a good way!). I DO NOT believe that Whitney carried on an on-going romantic/sexual affair with Robyn. Was there perhaps an initial encounter? I wouldn't doubt it, but as Robyn explained (due to Whiney's religious beliefs) Whitney chose to NOT allow it to move in that direction AND she was concerned about the public's opinion & people "finding out" and what they would potentially do with the info. I believe that IF Whitney were to have come along NOW as a young woman---perhaps she may have allowed herself to embrace her romantic feelings for Robyn, to "come out"---WHO KNOWS??? The religious part STILL would have been a factor, as Whitney would have KNOWN that homosexual relationships were/are against God's WORD and she LOVED GOD too much, but there are many who attend church on Sunday and do EVERYTHING else during the week---people just want to have their cake and eat it too. It's hard to know for sure what Whitney would have done, BUT it was the 80s---she made the right decision, BUT she loved & cared about Robyn and wanted to keep her in her life. I personally feel that IF Robyn had remained a strong influence in Whitney's life---she may have been able to really help her; possibly saved her from her own destruction, BUT Whitney's destiny was NOT ultimately in Robyn's control.

From observation, every time the woman seems more eager than the man and pursue him, it sometimes ends up in them not valuing the woman. But, if the woman seems like she doesn't have time for pettiness, very focused building her life, I have seen more guys express alot more interest trying to impress her in that situation . In either cases, it still doesn't mean once he has you, that he'll stay. But if he knows your tolerance for pettiness is low, that you won't stay through bull, I have seen guys level up just so he can be with that woman When men want to make a decision about a relationship , they make it based on a set of reasoning that makes sense to them, not necessarily because of their emotions. When women make decisions about a relationship, we make based on our emotions and not necessarily about if the situation makes sense.
