Man, Whitney attacked this song with the ferocity of a lioness. Her vocal’s truly were raw and she puts so much emotion into the lyrics of this beautiful song. @@michaelpatrick7888both were technically gifted and excelled in just about everything they did vocally, inside and outside their primes. They’ve even shocked masters of other genres, like opera for Whitney for example, while just playing around. Whitney was in vocal lessons since childhood because of church, and Mariah picked up what she could from listening in on her mother’s vocal lessons because she was a vocal coach but wouldn’t teach Mariah. Both have consistently shown capabilities that only masters, and not all of them, could do. They both studied and performed multiple genres and Whitney’s death had nothing to do with “wasting” her gift, which she didn’t do. With all due respect, you have no idea what you’re talking about.

@@michaelpatrick7888and if you doubt the validity of Whitney’s musical upbringing, old church music is in line with opera in terms technical difficulty. You can’t not know music, or not be well trained and practiced, and still sound good singing it. It demanded proficiency and Whitney was quoted saying that if she didn’t sound as good as the adults, she was back rehearsing and in lessons

It hurts so bad to have lost her. I am in total awe, stars in my eyes, chills and goosebumps when I see her get into this state when she sings. She gave us everything, and the world was too cruel to her. She deserved so much more recognition. What a shame. We lost the greatest singer in the world.

I never get tired of this performance. She gave everything on that stage. Whitney was really special, she always seemed so confident, a true artist, you don’t doubt her for a second, you don’t think is she gonna pull this off? Is she going to dodge this part? She just surprises me and delivers something better than I could ever expect. She’s mesmerizing, like she just grab me by her hand and take me on this ride. Amazing.

As we reflect on the movie, Whitney was against singing the song with being so happy in her marriage. Then reality hit! This what brought the pain, agony and sincerity through her heart, and performance. The Angel gone too soon ❤

No matter how many years pass and depending on what is going on in my life in the present I can always turn to a Whitney song and just feel it in my soul this is one of those songs❤ I feel so blessed to have had this immense talent and incredible woman to listen to growing up and it pains me the future generations will never know that this is what a true vocalist should sound like. whether you hear them in a movie or on a radio or a CD that they will always sound better live and that is such a rarity now😢

I can’t explain what kind of superiority she has, when she performs with that kind of voice, I feel like she is owning me for no reason. I am totally in awe. When you watch her, she will just gonna take out your energy but end up with the feeling of satisfaction. ahhhhh! I don’t know anymore!
