Is it wrong that I could play Laura's guitar playing 24/7/365 and never lose interest or grow bored with it? Her guitar speaks and sings about as good as I've heard in my entire life. I'm OLD and a huge guitar nerd. She's just one of the most amazing players on the planet. Thanks for posting. This performance was typical world class stuff from Laura, and the band is awesome as well. Cheers

I can't listen to Laura Chavez all day long. I love her playing like nobody else today, but she's so intense ....... that tone so nasty...... She overwhelms my senses after an hour and I just need to catch my breath. An hour later I'm right back listening to her play. She's marvelous!

Well she's grossly overweight..by about 20 or 30 kilos, so I worry about that. I stress over being 5kgs overweight, but the heart doesn't do too well when one is that much overweight. Joey DeFrancesco was famously overweight near the end, he died young as a result of that most probably. He became of course huge, pavarotti huge. From a fit young man in his early albums. So I worry a bit about that, hugely talented musician, life cut short because of obesity. Well who am I to say, should probably get out on a ski trip here in Norway tomorrow, in -15 or something, to get my heart going! Notice how all the singers are fit and trim! Always the case! Never see any obese backing singers do ya! Well with the exception of older singers, never see any fat divas singers either! But no, getting hugely fat isn't good. Just an obesity epidemic in the USA. Ok that's a signal for me to get out tomorrow morning and go on a long skitrip before I get too fat!

Idiot. Just jealous you cannot play like Laura Chavez. One of the great blues stars in the US these days. God bless Laura Chavez and the deep blues she plays and lives.

Love Laura's playing since the Candye Kane days and also worry that being this overweight usually doesn't end well . Please for the sake of your fans, start exercising and cut out junk food. Unfortunately 70% of Americans are either overweight or obese. You are a fabulous player, Laura . please look after your health.
