I disagree. The real problem is greed. Those who thirst for power easily buy out anyone who might want to stop them, or buy out some others to protect them in some way shape or form. More relevant to the topic, how many regular people treat btc and crypto as an investment/try to get rich off it vs ppl who just use it to pay for things? Greed is the real problem. @@b__w_4565 You are apparently unfamiliar with the current state of affairs. The federal government is using "terrorist" groups being funded through bitcoin as a means of justification to eliminate the anonymity aspect of bitcoin transactions. They're already working on legislation to do it. Meaning they will at some point be able to surveil every transaction. They could at some point prohibit the use of Bitcoin as a means of transacting in lieu of whatever type of social credit system they implement. Once they're able to surveil every Bitcoin transaction and pass legislation prohibiting its use, it will be very easy for them to crack down on those who still attempt to transact with it. Of course, any prohibition of Bitcoin would only be enforced on those at the lower levels of society. Corrupt government officials and fascist corporate entities will be exempted from such a crackdown. Bitcoin is simply the template they're going to use to create a new system of social credit similar to the one already implemented in China. All you need to do to see what the inevitable outcome will be is to look at the system China currently has in place and realize that most governments around the world desire to implement systems similar to theirs.

Btc is dying all the time. People die with their passwords of wallets, people forget passwords, and people that died did not tell their family. @claudiaalta3522 ай бұрын
@@citizen530 Initially yes, but getting rarer is not enough for anything to go up in value. It's not like we need btc. When it dies, we just make another one. That makes it a hype, for now. You can replace btc with any other token, because it's a technology, not matter, like coffee or gold. They make people crazy by yelling it only goes to 21 mln. Well, that is bs, because that just means it will disappear after time, but also, another token can come along after btc with 50 mln coins or whatever the next Satoshi makes up. Modern governments and their corporate masters hellbent on preventing you doing what you like would dearly like to ban cash, but hold onto your cash notes because they will only become insanely more valuable under such a regime. You as a private individual are not allowed to issue cash (or even a security unless you fulfill certain strict conditions), so you can't just make a Natalie currency. You can however release a program which people can trade amongst each other for money and this is protected by the constitution under the first amendment. This is what makes Bitcoin so valuable. Remember, the banking system is like an old Alexander Graham Bell device and Bitcoin is like a modern smart phone. the govt/criminals will use whatever they can to steal from society, luckily btc was created to prevent that so gives us the best chance really

I would argue that she didn't fully grasp BTC in depth and maybe the distinction to other crypto... Of course, they could forcefully take over most of BTC. Most of it is dispersed over the world. So it's unlikely they get control over it in peaceful ways... IMHO...

Of course it has become a tool for them. These guys can now literally make billions by creating this volatility. Some would say they probably created Bitcoin in the first place for this very reason.

thats why we avoid their etfs and self custody and make sure as many people as possible buy before big players start buying and push prices up massively
