​@WhitneyBaldwin Suggestion to ensure adherence: ☀️ I suggest a coat of Gesso before putting dry dex or clay or etc on the vase. Gesso is what we Artists use ti prime a canvas before painting. Theres a DIY Gesso Recipe on KZbin, you can make your own. (Elmers Glue, Distilled Water, Acrylic or Laytex Paint, Plaster of Paris or Calcium Carbonate) Google Search for Recipe, for amounts. It dries rather quickly, 30 minutes +/-, depending on how thick you paint it. Better to do 2 thinner coats than 1 thick. This would ensure adherence to glass, ceramic, plastic. (Always soft sand plastic before project.) Tip: Dollar Tree carries a soft white sand that would be a great texture additive alternative. Beth "Artist" (Oil on Canvas and Acrylics) .
