Whitney Bjerken | 3rd Level 9 Gymnastics Meet

Whitney was very excited for this gymnastics competition! All of her grandparents were in town to watch her compete. Things didn’t start out so great, as Whitney twisted her ankle in warm ups and then fell twice in her floor routine. She had a great vault, even though her runny nose got all over the vault table. Luckily Coach Gerson was looking out for her. Whitney also had a beautiful bar routine. Then came the dreaded balance beam, usually Whitney’s favorite event. Unfortunately, Whitney’s toes have been beat up lately and she wasn’t able to cling to beam the way she had hoped to. Whitney had a great time with her grandparents and is working hard to improve for her next meet.
