It was definitely a challenge to get ready for the first competition of the season, but I had a great time in Knoxville and even managed to win on balance beam. Hang in there, and be patient with yourself ❤️ I quit gymnastics after an injury, and that's my biggest regret in life! I didn't give myself the time and patience that I needed. I was frustrated bc It wasn't getting my skills, strengths, and difficulty back within the (very short and unrealistic) timeline that I had planned for myself. And it ended up leading to a lot of anxiety (I was having panic attacks almost every practice) and depression Good luck and I hope you have a speedy recovery!!

Congratulations Whitney!! Going 27+ on 3 events for the first meet of the season, less than 2 months after having surgery, is absolutely amazing and a testament to how great of a gymnast you are. Alabama will be so lucky to have you, but in the meantime, I imagine you'll only get better with more training time under your belt as you get further into season. Love this video and #RollTide!!
