Lyrics:
It's not right, but it's okay
I'm gonna make it anyway
Pack your bags, up and leave
Don't you dare come runnin' back to me
It's not right, but it's okay
I'm gonna make it anyway
Close the door behind you, leave your key
I'd rather be alone than unhappy, yeah (Ah)

Dolce and Gabbana did...in fact they did most of the Whitney's styling for videos and live performances from My Love is Your Love album - as well as for awards she attended after the album release -- and for some new videos from her Greatest Hits album a few years later such as If I Told You That duet with George Michael.

consistency 14 Yes? It resonates because I’ve been the person who stayed in a bad relationship out of fear of being alone. Then when I finally left, it was much better than the relationship; so I was scared of nothing. It’s nice to know you always make the right and logical decision, but humans don’t always do that, so you must be a robot - and an ugly one at that.

Whitney stood in the same spot the whole music video. She didn’t have to move or budge, she just spoke her mind and heart right there. She looked so powerful. And her smiling! She triumphs over the pain. So powerful and moving honestly ! It’s not just a catchy song to me, this is a masterpiece. All the women in the music video, you could tell they were actually telling off a man that they dealt with in their lives LOL. Just so good
@Sapphire-w9m

The lyrics of Whitney Houston's "It's Not Right but It's Okay" convey a powerful message of empowerment and self-worth amidst heartbreak and betrayal. The song delves into the emotional journey of a woman confronting her unfaithful lover and reclaiming her strength and independence. Despite acknowledging the pain of infidelity, the lyrics emphasize resilience and determination. The repeated phrase "It's not right, but it's okay" highlights the acceptance of a difficult reality while asserting the ability to overcome it. The woman's decision to end the relationship, symbolized by packing her lover's bags, reflects her refusal to compromise her happiness and self-respect. The song's empowering message is further reinforced by the lines "I'd rather be alone than unhappy." This declaration underscores the importance of prioritizing one's own well-being and not settling for a relationship that causes emotional distress. The woman's choice to be alone, rather than endure unhappiness, signifies her strength and self-love. In essence, "It's Not Right but It's Okay" serves as an anthem for those navigating the challenges of love and loss. The song encourages listeners to embrace their inner strength, acknowledge their worth, and prioritize their happiness, even in the face of heartbreak. It's a reminder that despite pain and betrayal, one can emerge stronger, more independent, and ready to embrace love on their own terms.

You have to care about all she did. Whitney wasn’t just the voice, she was human and everything she was made her that complete being. The voice, the gift was a heavy load to carry and preserve when daily the flesh battle against sin. She tried. So much pressure and the obligation not just to herself but to millions. It's ridiculous how people can 'round someone up' to their habits (no matter how good or bad). The fact that Whitney had an addiction to drugs doesn't take ANYTHING away from her amazing talent. Come on, folks, let's not be hypocrites! In these crazy days, nearly everyone has their own addiction, be it drugs, alcohol, work, love, church or even the Internet! If your meaning they may act the same then you just around the wrong women. Maybe moving would be a good idea or putting yourself around a different crowd of different women. Just saying. I’m glad I don’t look 👀 like all other women. Only the ones I’m related too. Maybe there’s a lot of twins 👯‍♀️, triplets, etc where you live. It’s sure not like that here in THE GREAT USA where I live. Maybe you should consider moving this way. Definitely no women looking just alike like I said unless they are related. Sorry for your bad luck my friend or maybe it’s good luck🍀& you just don’t realize it yet 🤔 💭 hope you get it figured out🇱🇷🙏🏻

Thee most beautiful voice in history! She could sing anything and everything. I wish she'd never met Bobby Brown. RIP Whitney.

I sing this song so often that my two and a half year old son memorized the lyrics to the chorus lmaooo😂😂😂 Every time I tell him "it's okay" when something bad happens to him, I break into this song right away and that's how he ended up memorizing it hahaha

As a non religious person I think Whitney is as close to the voice of an angel as ever was, where singing is as natural and effortless as talking, knowing every note is yours to hit and master. I remember this era, Whitney had a breadth about herself, like she was here to break the earth we stood upon. She was radiant.

I was just about to type that. Whitney is a legendary singer but she also had great acting skills...her expression and body language almost makes me forget she's singing the lines.
