Its universal message crosses all boundaries and instills one with the hope that it's not too late to better ourselves. The universe reminds us we all have a place here for us to listen and learn from each other. God bless them all that spirit sends his angels to remind us that we are so strong and we're so beautiful in God eyes and that's all that matters.

Whitney’s talent is restored with the overwhelming “The Greatest Love of All,” one of the best, most powerful songs ever written about self-preservation and dignity. From the first line (Michael Masser and Linda Creed are credited as the writers) to the last, it’s a state-of-the-art ballad about believing in yourself. It’s a powerful statement and one that Whitney sings with a grandeur that approaches the sublime. Its universal message crosses all boundaries and instills one with the hope that it’s not too late for us to better ourselves, to act kinder. Since it’s impossible in the world we live in to empathize with others, we can always empathize with ourselves. It’s an important message, crucial really, and it’s beautifully stated on this album.

This song didn't make sense to me as a child, but as an adult, it's everything. "The greatest love of all" is easy to achieve. "Learning to Love yourself, is the greatest love of all". Every word & lyric was, has & will always be on point, because it's life, it's real. Thank you Whitney Houston for real meaningful music 💯❤️.

The Greatest Love of All is one of the best, most powerful songs ever written about self-preservation, dignity. Its universal message crosses all boundaries and instils one with the hope that it's not too late to better ourselves. Since, it's impossible in this world we live in to empathise with others, we can always empathise with ourselves. It's an important message, crucial really. And it's beautifully stated on the album.

It's an evil song with an evil message. Loving yourself is not the greatest love. It is narcissism. You don't need learn to love yourself. You by nature love yourself. You need to learn to love God above all else and to love your neighbor as you love yourself. Self love is selfish and devilish. It is also stupid to say let the children lead the way. @@amanda.collaud As a christian I totally agree with you, but you can only love another person to the degree that you love yourself. You can't have quality loving relationships with others if you don't love yourself. There is nothing wrong with loving yourself and having confidence and dignity. As a child you get this from your parents and if you don't, like I didn't, life gets hard at a very early stage and then you strugle later on like I do now. Do you really think that Jesus hated himself or had a very low selfesteem?
@mattcup90014 жыл бұрын
@@amanda.collaud Selfhatred is not "a good mechanism to oppose the demons". You shouldn't hate anybody, especially yourself, becouse if you do then there is something wrong with your relationship with God. You can (and should) love yourself, be self confident and have dignity and still be humble and modest to others and worship and admire God. Modesty doesn't equal self hatered. If you hate yourself it doesn't mean you are a bad person it just means you are unable to have quality, loving realtionships with your husband/wife,children,family,friends.. because that self hate will make you unconsciously do or say things that will hurt other people around you. I don't think my parents didn't love me, they just made me feel that way because that's the way they feel about themselfs. The important thing is to recognize where this self hate comes from and deal with those emotions, and of course forgive, I did. :) And now, as the song says, I'm learning to love myself and hope to be able to give this love to my kids so they have childhood they deserve. I'm glad I will break this negative chain of self hate in my family. God bless you
