We did this as well. I decluttered every single area before we moved, and once we were at the new house, we decluttered again as we unpacked. Now we declutter daily in small amounts so things dont creep back up, especially before birthdays and Christmas.

You do as much or as little decorating as you feel comfortable with having your husband gone. The magic of Christmas is still felt no matter the amount of decor that is in each room. My husband passed away last month and that is the motto I’m taking as I only put up minimal decorations just for the kids. My son and your daughter are the birth day twins of 3/4/22; I always remember that when I watch your videos.

We moved last year and it took about 6 months to declutter. I even went back a decluttered some things a second time. So glad I did that. Ask yourself if this was your dream house would you take it with you?

I think my favourite movie is National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. I just love Chevy Chase ❤ but Home Alone is a close first too because my eldest child was obsessed with it when he was a boy(he’s 36 now!😂) Santa Clause is the best too . Tim Allen is a favourite. Love him in Christmas with the Kranks too. Great video today! You’ve inspired me to clean my utility room although I’ve no idea when I’ll find the time 😂

Harry Potter is my favorite movie(s) to watch during christmas. We have a HP marathon every year my boyfriend and I, today our kids watched with us too and they loved it! I've had this tradition since i was little, me and my brother would cuddle up in moms bed every morning when it was on tv during christmas.
