This makes me excited for the Paris episode which is my ultimate favourite of ALL The Hills episodes. I wish there was a spin off Paris show where Lauren and Whitney stayed there for 6 months and worked for Vogue Paris and went to the ateliers and hung out with sexy Parisienne boys and generally had an eye-opening liberating time.

Truthfully I know it was real for a period of time. That was from Heidi's mouth a few years ago for what it's worth. Apparently she did stuff thousands of envelopes that first day. So, I would say 6 months were real but yeah she said after awhile she just showed up to shoot scenes. Interesting comment. I really do think Audrina's job was real. I mean, Whit and Lauren's jobs were real so. I really think Heidi and Spencer started making so much money for their "villain" roles that she just didn't need to work but the show needed her to for the aesthetic of it I guess.

I mean no disrespect to Whitney, but The Hills made you think Whitney had the personality of boiled oatmeal with no milk butter or sugar. She's actually hilarious and highly intelligent. Why did they edit her to suck on the hills? Even on The City they didn't showcase her funny side whatsoever, I guess it didn't mesh with the vibe of the show but it's awesome to see her personality come out more with her husband. She has as much star quality as Lauren and she's a natural regal beauty. I hope her page explodes and she can step onto the scene in a bigger way than she did in the early 2000's. She's created a full life for herself and seems to have found more of her voice in her 30's and it's awesome to see. Whitney, if you're reading this, keep up the good work and continue to believe in yourself. You're no one's second fiddle.

Timmy, nothing but respect to you for admitting how beautiful Bordy is. It's okay, this is a safe Bordy loving space lol Heidi didn't just give up Lauren. Heidi gave up everyone, including alienating her own family. In the grand scheme of things Lauren was one of the lesser things she gave up, ya know compared to her own identity which Spencer took. Stephanie was actually an entertaining addition to the show because Heidi and Spencer were a couple of dead fish. I assumed Lauren was doing magazine cuts for FIDM, but I did them all the time in my 20's so it didn't seem weird to me lol I remember being SO excited Lauren got to go to Paris with Whitney, and it ended up being one of my all-time favorite moments from the entire series.

I can’t even lie. In my earlier days I hated this show. I saw no one that looked like me, college wasn’t paid for by Mommy and Daddy. They didn’t give me a car, or an apartment…so I was like it’s a bunch of rich , spoiled kids with connections I will never have and it doesn’t relate. But actually listening to and seeing you two, YALL are so down to earth, Whitney was hardworking in a way we really didn’t see on the show…..so was Lauren. I think it shows great character for someone to re-live a mistake/regret they made when they were 18 - especially in a public space! I know if some of my choices & regrets at 18 were brought up a few years later (let alone filmed for the world to see) I would be mortified!
