Huge tip on this if you’re set on an oval! Check out your proportions LxW ratio is key. When we got my ring we tried some on to see if we wanted the oval longer or slightly rounder. If you want it to be a longer oval then get a higher LxW ratio. This can also help you save some cash money.. because maybe you want a 2 carat but that’s pricey... by playing with the LxW ratio you can make sure you have more surface area on the top. So even though I only have a 1.29 oval my diamond surface area is slightly larger then a 1.5 round ideal.

We didn't have bridesmaids or grooms man and everyone thought it was weird at first but afterwards everyone realized they were able to watch and enjoy the wedding more and we weren't stressed about offending people and people not being able to afford stuff or paying for everyone and we still got to have bachelor/bachelorette parties and stuff etc etc it just made it all more simple and enjoyable in my opinion ... When my grandmother passed I was given her wedding ring which I redid into my engagement/wedding set. My husband and I also went together and picked out a setting. I shower & sleep in my ring - it probably depends on what kind of stone you have & the strength of it (mine is a pink sapphire & the strength is 9/10) but engagement rings are supposed to last F O R E V E R so you definitely should be able to sleep & shower in them... just a tip if anyone cares to know

Ilysm Whitney!! DEFINITELY live in Hawaii, even just for a short while!! My hubby and I lived in Hawaii for the first 13 months of our marriage (he was in the usmc stationed out there) and it was amazing. Aside from basically living in paradise, it's SO great to have that first period of time just the two of you. 10/10 recommend!!! Also, you can def have babies in Hawaii... We did. 😂 ❤️ Best of luck to you guys. Y'all are too sweet!! Can't wait to see the wedding content. 😍
