i just commented about how much i love the polar epress on your last video, but with the opening of this vlog i just have to say it again!! i also never understood how people hated the animation, i love it 😂i read the book every single christmas eve, the last line still makes me tear up to this day. my childhood librarian loved to read us chris van allsburg books during story time. he does this fun thing where in every one of his books he'll insert fritz the dog into the background somehow. in polar express its the page where the kid is looking out the window in his bedroom. the dog is a puppet on his bed post. anyway, we stan chris van allsburg. he also wrote jumanji and zathura!

(hello, make the season bright spoiler warning for anyone reading) dude i was constantly flip flopping in my opinion of this book because i was like oooo she left her at the alter, wild...how will they get through this... but like??? for it to be "i felt like you didn't pay a lot of attention to how i was feeling and didn't really ask so I LEFT YOU AT THE ALTER ON OUR WEDDING DAY knowing you have been abandoned by most everyone else in your life and it's a big trauma for you" and being like yeah those are equal mistakes and we did equal fuck ups to be like...uhhh....madam. thoughts and feelings on this book, thoughts and feelings.

Gordo reminds me of my cat Bruce. Bruce is white with black spots, kinda like black where Gordo is orange. He's the best, loves belly rubs and runs around like crazy in circles. Also loves to groom our two other cats Ash and Willow. I think Gordo and Bruce would be besties. haha Merry Christmas!
