nope ur wrong, 838 strange ONLY read the darkhold pages that are AVAILABLE for people with dark magic to use. Meanwhile, Scarlet Witch has a devoted chapter to her and also has secret chapters that ONLY CHAOS MAGIC is able to see "exclusive pages/spells" ONLY COMPATIBLE WITH CHAOS MAGIC. As it was the only book in the Multiverse, it's impossible to bring it back completely, unless someone plans to pull off another time heist (going back to past, reading the book or bringing it to the present before SW destroys it)

I don't think it would've mattered anyway. Our Strange handled Thanos with 4 stones, Strange Supreme from WhatIf gave a hard time for Infinity Ultron who doesn't have any physical limitations like Thanos. Also, Book Of Vishanti is a cheat code to defeat any bad guy, and Dr. Strange is smart enough to understand and pull off a win.

Lots of people are getting confused over possiblities and multiverse. For example, take a keyboard and let's say you need to press the enter key. Pressing the key with your index finger of your left hand is one possibility, doing the same with your right hand little finger is another possibility. You can even use your nose, tongue, toes, a stick, a pen, etc etc, to press the enter key. These are all possibilities (ways in which a task can be completed). But they all happen in the same universe. Strange didn't look into other UNIVERSES. He looked at different WAYS to stop Thanos and unfortunately they only succeeded in one. Hope this helps
