If Puffy saw a promising stock, he would go to another record company (Arista) ask for millions and invest in whatever he wanted, real estate, signing an artist, vacation, whatever... That's a loan, as long as he pays back. SUGE had the same access, cause he had a track record, they knew he delivered... He could have even asked INTERSCOPE 200 million$, and INTERSCOPE would go to the bank and find it, as long as SUGE paid back the loan. At the end of the day, DEATH ROW was making more money than INTERSCOPE, though INTERSCOPE had a cut.
