What a Wonderful bible teacher. I’m so very grateful that I was lead to him. Derek Prince has answered so many of the deep questions I’ve had all my life. If he was still alive, I would ask him to be my adoptive father. My own dad was also well educated, a professor of psychology and a businessman, and was very worldly, split our family and caused my beautiful mother a lifetime of pain. Listening to Derek Prince for close to a month now and now I know that 2 people I know in my life who told me about him are true friends! I have never looked forward to listening to teaching as much as I do this man. And I really love when he and his wife harmonize scripture together, truly beautiful and wondrous. He keeps things so simple and I find myself repeating scriptures and I say out loud or to myself once or more a day; scripture cannot be broken. The prayer Lord, let the meditation of my heart and the words in my mouth be acceptable in your sight, oh Lord, I can see how important it is to really mean it when I say it. It is blessing me in such ways that are crucial. I love to begin my day by giving thanks, saying above prayer, the Lords Prayer and then listening to the mp3 daily devotions. I am also listening to Michael Smith with hardcore Christianity and I have attended some of the services near me.

Be careful to not trust any man. Best read the bible for yourself, I listen to him and found out and know his rapture teaching is unbiblical and Sunday is not the sabbath day that God asked us to keep. Be careful not to empty your mind to all he says. He also stereotypes Africans and other races too much in his sermons when he mentions them, he appears to believe the superior narrative playing out in this world. Just study bible for yourselves

I have red the Holy Bible for years and have listened to hundreds perhaps thousands of preaching online. But there are 2 things I am waiting to experience and that is to meet the Lord Jesus Christ/feel His presence and be baptized by the Holy Spirit. Starre LaBell Hey Starrre! I was off here for a little bit - it was getting depressing...Fear porn all the time (sometimes on here) I needed a break. It is summer and I've been laid up for 10 weeks so far and we move in a week. OMG, try packing after your 3rd back surgery! Ouch!!! It is SO HARD!!! I tried to start physical therapy 2 X but I'm still in too much pain. I was bed ridden for 3 days after each session. I'm signed up to go tomorrow but I'm hurting from packing - can't win! Oh well, somehow we will get there soon - I will do better in the sun and at my own pace in a pool, lol

88msbugsy I haven't been on much, either. I'm burned out, and you're right about the fear porn. I've been hanging out on ECF...trying to help people quit smoking. If your husband is anything like mine he's not much of a packer. I had my son's strong 16yr old back last time I moved, because I couldn't handle it after I hurt my back. I bribed him with a new TV, stereo, AND Playstation 2. Lol It there anyway you can get out of physical therapy? That's too soon! Your not even healed inside yet. If it's causing you that kind of trouble, they are pushing you too hard. I strongly advise pool therapy. I did that kind and it wasn't hard. You can move on to the next level gradually. I used to live in a gym, and I used to be quite an athlete, the KEY word being used to. I can't even touch my toes now, it's very sad.

Starre LaBell It WAS "Pool Therapy" but it is PT at a GYM and they are pushing me too much too soon. I began to "gain weight" ever since I worked out (should be therapy but I actually bulked up in 4 sessions, lol) I bulked up and was SO Hungry too! I suddenly gained weight!!! I am going today bc they want me to just do the report that allows you to quit, lol. I did go too soon. I have gotten some strength though. I was SO WEAK! Yes you know how it feels and imagine this is my 3rd back surgery and I have to be careful bc he aleady thinks I need a 4th even by the end of the year he said (if I want it!) I think he did as much as he cld and then he wanted to see how I do and I cld also use possible more work, so i must be careful. I'm bulging so bad at L3-4 above my fusion. My hardware is out now but I have a fusion at L4-5S1...Oh my...never ends! I'm giving away everything to Salvation Army the ONLY ONE that will actually come inside and take stuff out for you, so I give them the best stuff and USMS for MS came today but that had to be on the driveway (a pain). Goodwill is also always there for drop offs. It is costing SO MUCH we are trying to purge everything!

88msbugsy If you're already putting on muscle, then that's pretty hard training. I know it's hard bouncing back, but you sound like you're determined to get as good as possible. I remember when I first moved to the San Antonio area, I was so elated at how cheerful everyone is, and how nice it is here. There's nothing like a new start:) I think you'll really like the south.
