Racegrooves is the OG of hot wheels channel. Among with Ghostjerker and wtffor. They were the main channels i use to watch before I started my own channel in 2012. Still watch wtffor a lot with the greenlight reviews and vintage diecast finds. Love his videos.

Racegrooves is the OG!!! I can remember watching him all the way back in 2013 when I started collecting hotwheels with interest instead of just picking it off the pegs while I was out with my family for grocery! He really made me get into hotwheels! And of course I can't forget to include you yourself too Drifter! I stopped collecting hotwheels around 2015 and started collecting tomica from then but when I found your channel back in 2017, you reignited my interest in hotwheels again! It was so cool to find a content creator for hotwheels on KZbin who was also based in Singapore as our collector community at the time wasn't that big. I used to watch your vids consistently but of course as I grew older, I have lesser time to watch so I only watch your content from time to time if it pops up on my feed... Now It's been roughly 5-7 years already and I'm still deep into the Hotwheels scene with a small "reselling" side hustle that I have!

My top 3 channels were Racegrooves, GHOSTJERKER, and BaremetalHW. Racegrooves videos were just a vibe, i still quote them to this day. Ghostjerker is the king of downhill racing and crazy tracks, as well as "pickin" videos. BaremetalHW got me into customizing and restorations. His channel is a wealth of knowledge for both beginner and experienced customizers.

Man Racegrooves was one of my first hotwheels youtubers I watched, I feel the same way you feel about racegrooves and PTR! I'm still subbed to them & sometimes check em out, the Nostalgia is crazy, You too are one of the youtubers I've been watching since I was a kid, Drifter! when it comes to collecting I started when I was around 4-5 coz I always loved cars & Toys so I naturally got into the hobby

I also used to watch RaceGrooves back in the day. (I completly forgot how long it has been). He is an old guy . I watched a lot of his reviews (Maybe 90% of his whole channel) 5:11 , the most expensive track sets i ever bought was the 5 lane tower when i was very young . Us boys has watched RaceGroove's videos back in the days .

For me, it was Race Grooves and GHOSTJERKER. Race Grooevs was for the reviewing and regular peg hunting and GHOSTJERKER was more for more track oriented videos. Watching Race Grooves old peg hunting videos really does bring some old memories of how plentiful and largely avaliable the cars were. There were no to little signs of hoarding and scalping and back then you could grab something that's cool in the racks and be happy about it. Well that's the past. Nowadays, Hot Wheels is more mainstream than ever and more people collects it which means more demand for the cooler stuff and slimmer chances of you finding the ones that you want. Well, it is what it is. I find hunting fun but, sometimes there are days where you don't find anything. Anyways, thanks for reminding my childhood Hot Wheels days.

Racegrooves was the first hotwheels youtuber i found in recommended, his first video i watched was a very old one where he used to do tournaments with his kids on custom built tracks Later i started engaging in most of his videos, mainly ask racegrooves which was like a weekend round up type video which was like a blog Nowadays he kinda went underground, he used to have a facebook group, its been 5 years since it got shut down Things i felt with racegrooves which i may have not felt with most is having fun. He wasn't biased in terms of castings and as you said as well that he also points out special features etc. and then using those cars in track time which becomes a good test on which cars are best for track. "buy what you like and collect" is the quote still in my mind to this day You were the second one who I found through your scalping video

I started collecting like 4 or 5 years ago and i started knowing about $uper treasure hunts like 4 years ago but im just in my teens so it hard for me to go hunting but i always get never vest when i see the adult collectors because i know they are looking for becuse they check to see whats in my hand like one time i found 2 935 supers so i had to hind them so they wont grabd them from me.
