In Kpop, "comeback" has a different meaning. It doesn't mean they left, a comeback is just whenever they're releasing a new album or EP. They didn't leave they're just like putting out new stuff. In kpop they often have new unique concepts and looks for each release so it's often a really big deal.

8:34 Yeah all of their songs are self-produced 😭 Mainly by 3racha (btw 3racha is mainly a producing unit they started off as a rap unit before debut tho) members but every now and then other members will also produce and write. Every member as participated in writing a few times. Skz had 3 album releases in 2022, they havent taken a break since debut from releasing music 👍5-star is their most recent comeback album which has the title track 'S-class' and soon they'll have a new album release on the 10th of November named 'Rock-star' with the title track 'Lalala' And hyunjin was the member who had a hiatus, he was only gone for that show due to ppl accusing him of bullying in highschool which was obviously proven false. But as far as I know kingdom was the only content missing him that year, they didn't do anything without him

Just a little info. ‘Comeback’ in kpop just refers to a new release, especially Korean releases. They had three albums release in 2022 - Oddinary, Maxident and the digital album Skz-replay. JYP also produces Twice, Itzy, Nmixx, Day6 and Xdinary Heroes. Other groups I mess with are (G)I-dle, Everglow, n.Ssign and AB6IX.

answers to some of your questions (sorry in advance for the long comment😭): 1. the member who was on hiatus was hyunjin (part of danceracha). what happened is a sore subject for stays but basically someone claimed he had severely bullied them when they were in school together and due to the amount of backlash and drama the accusations caused, he was placed on an indefinite hiatus. meaning he could basically have nothing to do with the group until it was sorted out. luckily, the accusations were proven false and he was able to come back. this was a really hard time for fans and stray kids so majority of stays don’t talk about it. 2. unfortunately chan’s room is no longer happening. there was a situation that occurred several months ago bc of something chan said on chan’s room and fans twisted his words. he had a massive amount of hate towards him and after that he had to post an apology statement bc of all the backlash (even tho he did nothing wrong). ever since then he hasn’t been doing chan’s room. at first it was because they were really busy but eventually he confirmed to a fan that he does want to continue but their company says he can’t. 3. i became a stay in early july 2022. i had heard about stray kids before then but i didn’t really want to get into any kpop boy groups other than ateez. i was mostly a girl group fan. but i decided to give stray kids a try and i was literally OBSESSED in 1 day. i spent an entire weekend listening to all their music and getting to know them individually and as a group. 4. all their albums are self produced. 3racha is the producing team and was also a pre-debut team. they were making songs on soundcloud together during the debut survival show. so every song that you hear was written and produced by a stray kids member. 5. in kpop comeback just means new album. stray kids have released a ton of music this year alone. they released a japanese album called The Sound in the beginning of the year. they released 5 Star in the summer then released another japanese album not too long ago called Social Path. 6. stray kids didn’t do a song with blackpink. they did a mashup of blackpink’s song du-ddu-du-du and their song God’s menu to get the song name God’s du-du-du. bang chan is friends with lisa of blackpink tho!

Enjoying your SKZ reactions. Stay will gladly watch longer videos, we are here to support our guys and enjoy watching new Stay discovering their music and personalities. I discovered them back when Thunderous came out in 2021, after hearing Changbins opening raps in both Gods Menu and Thunderous that same day, I don’t think a day has gone by that I’ve not consumed some of their content in one form or another. They keep us well fed. And no, they haven’t taken a break, a comeback is just what they call a new album release in the K-pop world. These guys are prolific, they are always working, creating, writing, producing, touring, they don’t stop. I’m in awe of their work ethic and their creativity and love that they’re absolute crackheads and so humble too. SKZ code is highly recommended, Stay will watch full episodes with you. It’s so much fun! I also recommend to pause before speaking though, generally fans prefer you pause so you don’t talk over the guys and don’t miss any info or translations on screen while commenting on things. Otherwise, great reactions so far!

Even tho they have their own subunits. Skz is known as an allrounder group. Meaning they can all do everything. For example, hyunjin and felix from the dance unit are in the rapline and rap in all of skz songs. One thing to add aswell is that 3racha is not a rap unit. They are the producing unit of skz. There is a difference between the TRIO 3racha and the SUBUNIT 3racha even though it consists of the same members.The TRIO 3racha is a predebut rap/hiphop trio. They were formed long before skz was formed. They basically have nothing to do with skz cause they make their seperate music. The SUBUNIT 3racha was formed after skz debuted. They make all of skz music from producing, writing and composing. Even though they don't have official positions anymore. Stays still refer to them when talking about each members talent. Main rappers: changbin and han Lead rappers: hyunjin and felix Main dancers: leeknow and hyunjin Lead dancer: felix Main vocalist: seungmin Lead vocalist: han, chan Sub vocalist: jeongin If you were to split the rap focus and the vocal focus, it would be: Rap focus: changbin, han, hyunjin, felix Vocal focus: seungmin, jeongin/I.N, leeknow, chan You could also put han in vocal, since he is an ace, which means he is really good at both rapping and singing. He also tends to sing the higher notes in their songs. Bangchan is a member of 3racha, so ofc he can rap very well. But he will almost always sing in skz songs and rap in 3racha songs. Leeknow does both rapping and also sings Hope this helps❤

A lot of STAYs are totally into other groups too. For instance ATEEZ, (G)-IDOL, TXT, EVERGLOW, ENHYPEN, GOT7, TWICE, BTS, THE BOYZ, ITZY, NMIXX etc. etc. But ATEEZ and (G)-IDOL just hit different…I personally haven’t found a STAY that didn’t like those groups. STAY and ATINY(the ATEEZ fandom) are often joked as the “Besties” and “Cousins” in K-pop. Cus the groups get along so well too.

Great catch! 3racha is a UK drill beat! A common misconception is that 3racha is the rap line, they’re not, they’re the production unit. They have a large part in writing and producing all SKZ songs! The members in 3racha just also happen to rap, although Bang Chan is more of a vocalist. The rap line is Changbin, Han, Hyunjin, and Felix. The subunits are just what each member primarily focuses on. Production, dance and vocals. Great reaction! I really love that you took the time to try and absorb all the info. I get so annoyed when I see reactors react to a guide and just look at their phone or the chat and not read all the info. Love the skz content!

4:40 Bang Chan, leader of the group and the perfect guy thatll leave most stays single at 70 cause he sets standarts that are just impossible to live up to 😂. In all seriousness though, the song is a 3racha (rap/production subunit comsisting of Chan, Han and Changbin) song. Chan actually choose all the tema members himself and started with 3racha. They wrote and produced songs as trainees and put them on soundcloud without permission 😂. Theres some gems in there.
