They set it up for us to obviously see he was one of, if not both of their father. If they scrapped it at the last minute what a shame. All the clues are there. Something in Terry's soul made him try to save Geese. Geese probably realized a white guy this strong had to have his blood, put two and two together, and decided he rather die than face the truth of the situation. "I have just been beaten by my bastard son, who I have been enemies with since I killed my fellow apprentice and his adoptive father." (Or real father if their mom messed with Jeff first and then Geese, as often does happen in Japanese stories. 2 rivals, one girl theory.)

Personally, I'm fine with the idea that the only reason Terry and Andy are both adopted is that it makes their circumstances when Jeff is killed even lower. They were already orphans before Jeff, and after their sole caretaker is murdered they'd have no one but each other in their lives, and also no one else to turn to that might set them back on the path of a normal life. The question of who their parents are...just doesn't matter. Unlike the obsession with lineage that underlines many fictional characters, and the power that comes with it, Terry and Andy just became strong because they had to. They were strong because they needed to be to accomplish their goals, not because they actually belonged to an ancient clan, or had incredible fighting abilities passed down through their bloodline. They're not Kusanagis or Yagamis, or Howards for that matter, they're not Mishimas, they don't have Orochi blood, or the Devil Gene, or ancient treasures. They're just Terry and Andy Bogard, and they really wanted to beat the shit out of Geese Howard. Also, I always thought the Senpuuken was way too goofy to be Hakkyoukuseiken's ultimate secret technique. The fact that it keeps coming up as such is nothing but people aping the original OVA instead of coming up with a better idea. The fact that it was the move that beat Geese in the OVA always felt really out of place, it'd be like if the SF2 animated movie ended with Ryu and Ken beating M.Bison by doing hundred hand slaps instead of hadouken.

Fun facts: In KAISERWAVE (an official SNK Twitch Show), two things were revealed during an interview with Youichiro Soeda (an SNK staff member that worked on the Fatal Fury series): - Terry and Andy are not blood related. They only refer to each other as brothers because they grew closer to each other. - Geese was confirmed to not be either Terry or Andy's father. So right off the bat, we can deconfirm the Geese theory lol

as for terry we dont know for sure, but it was confirmed long ago by the creator of the series that they had a plan to make andy geese son and make the focal point around a brother gone rouge after finding out the truth. this was insinuated in the ending of the first ova and the second ova. however the idea was scapped at the last minute due to the popularity of the trio and the development of andy and mai among fans in japan. people really forget that at one time the fatal fury series was the best selling fighting game series in Japan. the story and the characters were popular as shit. snk was making butt loads of money off the franchise, however they squandered it developing too many other failed properties. its also the reason they gave us the Easter egg of evil andy in real bout special. his dialogue and move set were dark and destructive. ex andy or evil andy was such a great character we never got again.

Man the audio phrasing on the second thesis was very confusing😅. Considering how angsty Rock is about his "evil blood", I can't help but think that a new character (who is clearly not evil) with all of Geese's moves and Andy will team up at some point to drill it in his head that neither his power nor his blood are responsible for his outbursts of rage. Either that, or the contrast between Rock and the other two will serve as an early hint that one of the Scrolls of Immortality was about body-swapping and Geese is slowly taking over Rock.

Nice video! Honestly, that theory is arguably so popular, that it's always fun to think about, in my opinion. Though I might agree with Andy being Geese's biological son, I have a different idea, for when it comes to Terry. What if, Geese had another brother, other than Krauser, who was older than Geese, and actually a very cool and sympathetic guy? He likes to fight, but also settled down to live a more peaceful life, though obviously still training from time to time. He is also close friends with Jeff Bogard, and taught him his own moves, which Jeff would use later on. The older brother of Geese, would turn out to be the biological father of Terry, and Geese himself, would be the biological father of Andy, making Terry and Andy cousins. Rock would then also be Terry's adoptive son and biological cousin, and Andy's adoptive nephew and biological brother.

Yep. In a nutshell. Very Star Wars-ish. They gave us enough clues without ever actually saying it. Geese was a powerful gangster, their birth mother was a beautiful but tragic white lady who died some very tragic typical poor prostitute related death. (Very similar to Geese's own mother, being a side chick to a powerful man and died a poor death.) Geese never cared to find out if he made any kids in the streets. She probably definitely didn't bother telling him. This is the art of story telling. Every one staying close and related. This is why Terry tried to stop Geese from falling. This is why Terry actually adopted his much younger brother.

There are many characters in KoF and Fatal fury timeline who are much stronger than what they employ in battles. Meitenkun, Geese, Kula, Oswald, Tung, Ryo, Robert, Kyo, Leona etc etc and guess what, Andy is in there too... I know that it is confirmed that andy is not Geese's son, but Andy is technically stronger than terry but he never unlocked his hidden powers. (the dark side if you will) we can see this referenced in many games.
