I think they should bring in Memphis. Tulane, UTSA, North Texas, Texas St, and Tulsa or UTEP. Split into divisions with these 6 in the East and the current PAC 12 in the west to help with travel. Five division games and three cross division games so Max travel is two west coast games for the east division and vice versa.

Tiger fan... would love to go with Tulane and UNLV for now. After the dust has settled, add USF, UTSA and 1 more from Central or Eastern time zone. That allows 2 divisions: West and East. Cuts down travel costs and gives the conference more games to offer broadcasters. And you still have PAC-12 After Dark.

Memphis, Tulane, UTSA, USF, North Texas, FAU. 12 teams, 2 divisions, playing divisional teams every year in football while rotating non-division teams, playing divisional teams 2x every year in basketball, and rotating 2x with non divisional teams. Anyone with me?

Here’s who the PAC should be targeting… Now there are many obstacles in place based on current conference affiliations, buyouts, and political alliances, but here we go: CAL Stanford UNLV UTSA Memphis Tulane USF North Texas Texas state Gonzaga St. Mary’s Even if the PAC cannot regain CAL and Stanford, with all the schools listed above, this would most certainly solidify the PAC as the best 5th conference and potentially regain autonomous status with merit.

Here's my version S Tier: (ain't happening) CAL Stanford A Tier: Memphis Tulane B Tier: UNLV C Tier: UTSA Rice Texas state Tulsa D Tier: USF (Geography..) North Texas F Tier: NMST / Air Force / Wyoming etc... Basketball Schools: Gonzaga St. Mary’s My ideal prediction would be Pac-10 (12 w/ ball) Oregon St, Washington St, Boise St, Fresno St, San Diego St, Colorado St, Memphis, Tulane, UNLV, UTSA, Gonzaga, St. Mary's.

The question is this… do you prefer this over the MW or would you have rather been in the BIG12 (joining with UCF, Cincinnati, BYU, Houston)? If it’s the BIG12, then you can thank JD Wicker for blowing that opportunity.

He used the money from the tournament run / national championship that was supposed to go to the basketball players through NiL collectives and he used the money to try and save the football program that he destroyed by trying to run off rocky longs O.C

PAC 12 is giving/paying MWC over 100 million! And MWC is not depleted to 2 teams. I think that the conference alliance and fees were planned to keep both conferences alive and looking forward!

Who they should get all depends on what media deal they want and who their potential media partners prefer.

With all the realignment, conferences need to change their names. Only 2 conferences have it right: CUSA and AAC. No conference should have a number since numbers change. No conference should have geography since geography doesn’t matter.

Unpopular opinion: AF joins AAC. UNLV and Utah State join the PAC. MWC bodies up Sac State, Monstana State, Montana, New Mexico State, UTEP, and possibly Eastern Washington or Northern Arizona, plus NDSU and SDSU.

Rice and North Texas , UTSA, Memphis wait till MWC and ACC falls apart and than get Sandford and Cal from ACC and get UNLV and Nevda if the law requires it both or if not than Utah State or San Jose for free or at a discount because the MWC dies.

Texas makes sense, I'm surprised UNLV keeps getting mentioned, they have 25 losing seasons in the last 29 years, with lots of 0, 1, and 2 win seasons. Bowl bonuses and CFP money are huge boosts to revenue, Odom is great, not sure if they keep winning after he gets bought by P4.

They have a lot of money invested in football and if Odom leaves Marion the oc can fit right in as hc not to mention massive media market really good basketball big school, research institute they check all the boxes besides football history but currently the best mw football school so I’d be surprised if they don’t get into the pac 6

FSU's fans have been so obnoxious over the past 9 months that I am absolutely loving their season. Look, I have at least a half dozen reasons to be sympathetic to and grateful for FSU over the past 50 years. But their obnoxious so-called "fans" have just gone absolutely scorched earth to all of that good will. They really need to look in the mirror and reevaluate.

UTSA is on the rise and merging with UTHealth so will have a medical system which will do wonders in raising their profile. Each of the four jumpers have made football facility improvements or built new stadiums relatively recently. San Jose State is undergoing a reduction. That’s not helping. But worse, they are too quiet a school in a way-too-crowded Bay Area market that can barely provide Stanford and Cal sufficient attention. The market alone would matter otherwise.

The pac whatever should just take the entire mountain west plus an entire second conference. Why not? Have a MASSIVE 32 team conference. Conferences won’t exist in 10 years anyway.
