I pulled up in Park Village in 2004 05 by then i was going there often since 2001... i was in my 84 2dr Brougham white with a blue top and blue interior on 100 spokes with a blue LB hat on and my homeboy in the passenger seat looked like an Islander but he ain't... this day it was a lot of pvc's outside doing hood patrol.... they stopped me like they was the police blocked my car and banged on me thinking I'm from the ws of Long Beach going in there to get at them...i had to talk my way outta that and tell them who i was there seeing. All it takes is one nigga to say naw fuck cuzz and it coulda been over with... they was going at it hard with their Long Beach rival at the time. Some bad times back then. my dad was there when the park village crips was bein founded. he was born in american samoa but moved to compton around ‘65-‘68. he even think he made the hand sign with that star trek shit we be pullin lol. thank the lord he moved out to san bernadino in the 90’s and then to New Zealand in the 00’s so we could get way from the hostility. it’s crazy cause even some 30 years later, that gang life still followed my dad every where he went. all the way up to the point he had to move to another country
