To define a "competitor" as Karp has done by whether or not they do the exact same thing as Palantir can be overly simplistic. Bottom line: If another company knocks Palantir out of the bidding in a contract, that competitor has "won." Having the best product is no guarantee of a contract. We don't want to be the 2007 Patriots.

Doesn’t make sense. Contract bidding isn’t always the most meritorious process. There’s a whole lot of politics involved - particularly in government contract bidding
