*Dribbling JUST to dribble isn't a plus. It can be a fun flare for fans, but, in reality, ball handling is the real discussion. And Bird had those fundamentals MASTERED. *Dunks he did. SLAMMING the dunk, no. But, either one, a layup or a 15-footer all count the same.

Bird: 24 pts, 10 rebounds, 6.3 assists, 1.7 steals, .8 blocks career per game averages and the ONLY player in HISTORY to do that. oh yea he shot 50/40/90 twice (oNLY Steve Nash and KD have done that in history).. Magic scored 20 a game, 11 assists a game and 8 rebounds a game and shot 53% from the field with 2 steals a game for his career averages.. Kobe and Lebron dont got these stats.. I dont blame you though. you can only go by what you you know and you werent around for these types of players from back in the day.. Oh yea Magic and Bird have the highest winning % in NBA history, 1 and 2 respectively.. I got Lebron and Kobe around 5 & 6 personally. I got Kareem ahead of them too, but behind, Jordan, Bird and Magic. then like shaq, wilt, duncan etc etc.

LeBron is a cry baby, and jumps from team to team to try to find a team that he can win with. Larry took a losing team and turned it into a champion winning team. If Larry Bird had taken the shots he fed McHale and Parrish, his stats would have been unmatched, but he got the team involved.

Larry Legend is one of those men. Crowley's "Making the Case" series is interesting and worth the watch. I'm a lifelong native Tar Heel fan of well over six decades, though I've lived in Colorado for 25+ years now. I I have Michael at 1a, Larry at 1b. Starting first all-time team? Jordan, Bird, Magic, Duncan, and Kareem. I saw Jokic live a few weeks back and walked out SMH. He was stunning. I may have to have to rethink that goat debate in a few years. 😳

Larry himself said that early on, Jordan "didn't have a team." But the Celtics with an injured Larry (broken back, double Achilles, bone spurs...) still beat the Bulls. It was magic (pun intended) to see MJ, Larry, and Earvin play together in 1992.

All I know is Larry wanted to win you never will hear him saying he beat MJ there friends, and Larry legend just loved the game of Basketball all he wanted to do was play basketball, for a while I would get upset, about how he didn't get the props that he should have but people that played with and against him give him his props but it doesn't bother Larry legend so I'm not going to let it bother me I know how good he was ty I enjoyed your reaction ty for not yelling and screaming like some of the other reactors pls put out some more videos ❤

Thomas lost friends and his place on the '92 Dream Team because of the way he played with the Pistons, backstabbed "friends," and especially because of the rumors he spread about Magic, one of his supposed "best friends," after Earvin's HIV diagnosis. He publicly torched Larry, saying he agreed with Rodman's comment that Larry would be considered an average player if he were black. Bird could care less what either said about him. But he cared very much that it caused a distraction during the playoffs and that Thomas spread lies about his friend, Magic. It's all spelled out in Bird's and Johnson's book, "When the Game Was Ours," and in the following documentary, "Courtship of Rivals." Nobody, including the coach, wanted Isiah on that '92 team. It wasn't just Jordan.

When someone like him pushes Robert Parrish to throw punches, you really know he's dirty. He made Laetnerr, Grayson Allen, and other dirty players look like choir boys. I remember seeing him target Larry's broken back more than once.

Larry is not top three players of all time. But bird and Jordan are the top two best basketball players I’ve ever seen. Lebron third and maybe Kobe next, but magic played the game at a different level than lebron or Kobe. So it’s Jordan, Russell, Kareem, Magic, Lebron, Bird, Wilt…that’s the list. I would put Dream’s peak as being the highest I’ve seen since magic, bird, Jordan.

And one day players that you know are nowhere near as good as people you watched, getting called goat by the next generation after you and you know, there’s no way in hell that those players are better…. Yes, Larrry is in the top three. Id even argue he is the no1, depending on what metric you jfollow. individually, Jordan is no1, there is no doubt in my mind. But like many testemonies in this very video tells you, as a _team player_ Larry was better, "more dangerous", than Jordan. And it IS a team game. In a one v one skill match up, my money would be on Jordan. But if I built a team from scratch and had first pick, Id take Larry Legend 8 days a week. While Jordan might be better in a one for one comparison, I think Larry was the more valuable player. EDIT: Larry broke his back in 85. He hurt it *_again_* in 88. He played 7 years with that back, won his third MVP with that back and took a championship... with that back. The dude is no human... cuz you cant do that. like physically you cant... Vs Jordan, Magic, Kareem. Dr.j etc etc etc? Larry was a monster. No wonder everyone feared him.

Lebron, MJ and Kobe. nice.. unfortunately for me, if I went by my FAVORITE players it would be John Starks, Anthony Mason and Charles Oakley.. do you know them? lol not likely. but if im being FACTUAL and OBJECTIVE.. MJ had few weaknesses if any (average 3 point shooter) and was dominant on both ends and played hard.. Lebron is not that great a shooter, takes defensive plays off, games off, and air balls free throws and seems to throw his teamates under the bus instead of lead ... Kobe shot 43% from the floor. thats terrible. Bird had few weaknesses if any (average athlete) and has BETTER overall stats than BOTH Lebron and Kobe INCLUDING better DEFENSIVE numbers.. Magic ALSO has better over all stats than both Leborn and Kobe. BOTH Bird AND Magic were DOUBLE DOUBLE guys and almost triple double averages for their careers.
