Cody wins. Was close though. Nice idea of "keeping moving" but works against you as more chance of timing glitches from hard to find fuses and losing track of devices. Also, Cody having to hold the light defeats the waiting to dark to get the best results on the ones that are designed for night time displays.

We shot empty the mag in our 4th of July neighborhood show last year, it's just a mine cake. Points to cade for ball shells and symmetrical breaks though.

Cody's was more sophisticated. Cayde's/Caid's had cooler cakes. I really liked that 90 shot mine cake. I thought it would be all comets. The mines were a nice surprise. And that finale cake was epic. One of the coolest consumer cakes I've seen in a long time.

Why are fireworks so expensive? Well, I think it's mainly that the price will simply be what the market will bear. And they tend to have high taxes/duties (especially since they're all imported)... It's kinda like how it costs maybe $0.25-.50 to manufacturer a pack of cigarettes, but, in the U.S, they sell for $10-12 per pack. Fireworks are speciality, seasonal, and highly regulated products (which are functionally luxury items) will always command a premium. It's a perfect storm for high prices, basically.

No all fireworks are hand made! And fireworks varied in price depending on your country. I live in South Africa and fireworks here are pretty cheep. And for $50 you can put on a big show! But in America you can even buy a good fireworks cake for that price

I pass by there everyday running U.S. Mail from Denver to Salt lake. I love the LED lighting they have at night, I will have to check them out sometime. That is of course if I can fit the Truck and Trailer close to the store.
