They have 3 "home grounds" - Leichhardt, Parramatta and Campbelltown and a centre of Excellence? at Concord. Pick one home ground and play all your home matches there. I would suggest Campbelltown since that is an area with lots of junior players who may be inspired to play for the Tigers in the future.

I agree with Buzz (first time for everything), Pascoe is being attacked for on field results, but he separates himself from this section of the club and has left it up to the coaches, both Cleary and Sheens have made terrible recruitment/retention decisions (Cleary possibly purposeful sabotage imo). The part of the club Pascoe is managing is succeeding.

@@bodgiesteve8849 The centre of excellence is at Concord Oval where they have always trained, it should have been built at Campbelltown. The issue isn't Balmain at all, they have one board member who cannot really do anything, Western Suburbs and Wests Ashfield took over and have paid or are paying off the debts for Balmain Leagues Club. Balmain still have the junior teams and that's about it. For the first 10 or so years of the merger, Balmain had all the power and the money, I remember once Tim Sheens said "I won't pick any players from the Western Suburbs NSW Cup team, only Balmain". Now it's the other way around, Wests have all the power and money. Balmain historically were a very successful club, it's not their fault where the club is at, it's about the people in charge currently, I remember Jack Gibson said "A good club starts at the front office" or something like that. We've seen it at Canterbury when they were doing poorly, Parramatta etc, once they both got in the right people, results have or are changing.

I've never met Pascoe, but anyone prepared to get out of the office and help set up training drills is ok by me. But... In the changing room that is the coach's office, when he/she speaks, All listen. Brooks, is out there every week, taking hits on and off the field. Do I feel sorry for him? no, but... do I think he is overpaid? no. The media have job to do, fact-checking and wading threw massive amounts of poop, to report on the game, and I look forward to hearing about it. But... Tigers have been failing since Pascoe became CEO. The current board are not helpful either. It's a club culture thing and bad policies. They have had some great players that have gone elsewhere and found their form again. Look at Norfoluma, temporarily went to storm and was brilliant, goes back to Tigers and failing. Successful players have come in this year and they are failing now as well. Some great coaches as well who have failed. So there has to be some common denominator. Yes Brooks needs to go but so does Douei, the CEO and the board also needs a shake up along with their policies. Hard decisions need to be made or Sheens and Benji are going to end up on the scrap heap like McGuire and others with stains on their good names.
