So what I noticed is that you need both speed and a small hit box since Bowser couldn’t make it but he is the fourth fastest character. Also for anyone confused about why some characters run animations looked weird they were using a tech called foxtrotting which is slightly faster then regular running.

I thought the same thing but if u think about it he didn't use the dodge button when ur charging a move like aura sphere or charge shot if you just move ur left analog stick like if you were walking it automatically makes u roll so I guess he didn't count it as an official roll. But either way Lucario could probably make it with his extreme speed (up special) if used side ways and if not we'll more aura maybe.

Yeah, it‘s possible if you Hydrant before the Lava block hits the ground and the water pushes you, do a side b and you can just barely make it.

Mistakes: -Kirby can use down-b to survive the lava. -Game and Watch’s up-smash has invincibility. Not sure if it would work but it’s worth a try. -Wolf could probably use side-b. -PAC-Man could probably make it using a hydrant + side-b setup. -Side-B lowers bayo’s hitbox. -Isabelle could use neutral-b for some invincibility.

It's called foxtrotting. It's when you repeteadly use the initial dash animation to run, instead of holding out the stick to run. Some characters' initial dash animations are faster than their regular running speed.
