Actually every character can do this, all you have to do is nair, and press c stick forward, this will move you forward in the air for one frame, no analog movement required. It can also be done during some neutral bs like water shuriken, c shifting can be done during hydro pump as well so it probably applies to most specials. Apolotions hydro cancel tech is pretty useful huh

The fact that Ness actually moves horizontally forwards by a very tiny little bit surprised me.
