Dimas has a nice, gritty voice. Tommy's is so clear and beautiful. Dan's grit and growls are excellent. Dan definitly was the best. He made us feel what he was singing and relayed the integrity of the music through those powerful, metal growls. All 3 were really good, but Dan was fire.

Dan’s accent does come through in some songs. Dan is by far better than Tommy or any other cover artist, even better than the original!! Tommy is good but I myself, can’t compare him to Dan. Dan is in a whole other league by himself. I have never heard Dimis but he sounds like a little kid but he’s his vocal are pretty good. Love the acoustic. With time he’ll grow.

The song actually does not need a screaming vocal the whole song. To have a mix would be excellent. Let the song build and metal scream at “those” moments. Vocalist really needs to know what they’re singing. Otherwise, the inflection is all wrong. That would display vocal maturity. Floor Jansen is one of those vocalist who is exceptional at annunciation no matter what language she’s singing in. You will hear no accent at all. But she is classically trained, and she has a background of musical theater. Dimash has a wonderful voice. ❤ Tommy actually put a super cool arpeggiated run at the end. 😎 Dan is my winner!

Dan Vasc was the lead vocal singer for Orion’s Reign…I think 2015-2017? But he wanted to focus 110% of his effort on his own career, so he stopped doing the vocals for them. I think Dan was still in Brazil during this time because the videos all look edited…he’s never shown with the band around him and these days it’s easy to send video & vocal stuff electronically all across the world. I think Orion’s Reign is based in Greece. It would be fun to see what you think of a “Who did it Best” lineup of “Thunderstruck” with Tommy, Dan and maybe someone else.

I like this format. My reactions: Dimas: has potential but still sounds like a boy. Tommy: has a beautiful voice, of course, and great high notes, but I feel that he’s usually committed to his voice rather than the meaning of the song. Dan: great voice, AND great singing. Eric Gronwall is now the lead singer, but he actually did cover this song on his channel right before he became lead for Skid Row. His video was actually part of why Skid Row went after him. I came back to try what you did, to judge without watching and found that I actually appreciated Dimas’s vocals more for some reason. But even without watching Dan visually express the song, which IMO added so much more emotional depth, his vocals were overwhelmingly captivating for me. In my opinion you can't compare the versions in a "fair way". Tommy for example is a very complete musician who does everything of his videos by his own. Playing the instruments ( up to ten) filming, mixing, editing the video.. All are without a doubt really great and epic.
