Fun fact: that mound of bones is made up of a wooden box that Tom built that is surrounded with cinder blocks and those cinderblocks are filled with waterproof paper and covered with canned spray insulation foam. Then Tom spray painted that mound of foam over the cinderblocks with black spray paint and that was covered with topsoil which surprisingly was mostly manure lol 😂. Then over top of that they placed animal and human bones that they had purchased and were stained by Tom’s sister to look real. Tom’s brother-in-law did the CGI effects. Tom was just on the side of his patio there in front of a 20 foot green screen that he built and painted then his brother-in-law added the special effects!! Is this not the absolute best team of people you could ever think of???

Like many of the deeper Tom songs where there are layers of meaning AND there is experimental beats, guitar riffs, flow changes, and even reverb quality, it’s weird on one’s ears the first listen thru. Once repeated a listen a few times thru the song, the more one actually hears…. Each time I have listened and also re-watched and listened with the few quality reactors I enjoy, I have seen and heard knew content. It’s almost as if I’m listening to a different some each time it’s on re-play. It’s a great song. I love the experimental sounds going on with the beats, the musicality, the bass, the words, the tone, the rap choice/ speed/ and sound. It’s sooo good. Ever since he picked up a guitar and played with riffs and mixes into a rap song; and even doing a basic “rock” type of album with his friend and Nova 2 years ago, expanded the versatility of the musicality in the background behind the beats. Working with Adam on his last collaboration album helped push him to challenge himself with the rhyme schemes, the tone of his voice, the speed, the switches in flow, and even the force in which he chooses to go “hard” or smooth is great. AND if you notice in this song, he has chosen to make a statement song. Many of his past choices in content have pointed toward hypocrisies within people wandering around in the world. Like “bacteria is life on mars, but a first forming human baby in the womb are just a clump of cells. And while this song is going at industry and calling asshats out for using more famous rappers out in their songs to get notoriety and fame, rather than use talent to prop them up. And he is doing it all independently with hisself, his gal, and his family. He doesn’t have labels propping him up and buying position and sales on the charts and air play on the radio. It’s a great statement for him to be able to make after the years of grinding it out and being ignored by everyone…. AND now that he’s made it this far all on his own, everyone in the industry is trying to come after him… mess with him… knock him down and keep him off the top that he had to achieve on his own.
