The Senate is hearing testimony from capitol police officials and I am noticing something interesting about who is to blame for the riot...an absence of blaming Donald Trump.

Capitol police requested national guard presence Jan 4th and were denied by Pelosi, then on Jan 6th they requested again and she waited until it was out of hand to approve their request.

With the exception of the lady that was shot by the police, the other deaths were natural causes. This doesn't make them less tragic but it is evident that those folks that stormed the building were not there to harm anyone. The videos I saw looked like a bunch of frat boys on the strip the Thursday night before the big game. This has been blown way out of proportion in my view!!

I remember seeing a foreign reporter state that she was at the Capitol early the morning of the 6th sometime around 5am. She stated that she interview a capitol policeman who was leaving. He told her that he and several other police were told to go home and that they were not needed that day. Anyone else hear or remember this?
