Really nice haul! I ran in my local Goodwill today to check on a Neuman Christmas tree ($1200 retail) I had spotted yesterday. It turned out to be in pretty rough shape so I made a quick loop around the store before I left. I saw a new hard goods cart and scanned it quickly. There was a wood and glass box wrapped in bubble wrap. I peeked inside and it was a Swiss Music Box for $7.99. I knew it was something special but I looked it up as soon as I got to my car. It retails for $5700!! I cried!! I’m still in shock!

$5700!! Omg you did buy it right? You can sell it at auction! I need to come to your neighborhood! I have a Poshmark store, Scout’s Fund where I sell my own stuff. I worked part time in retail for years and bought A LOT of stuff that I never wore or used. I have an army of squishmallows and can’t even fit myself in my own bed. Some are still in plastic! I probably have 60 pairs of hardly worn pants. Oh and Xmas stuff galore that I haven’t even listed! But my job happens to be in an entire street of thrift stores and I’m trying to refrain from going to them until I sell all the stuff I already have. It’s just too much now that my kids are grown and moved out. I need to have a grown up home now! 😂

Lori I forgot I wanted to tell you. I found a Harvey/Disney Seatbelt Bag. I paid 90.00 SOLD 1260.00! I don’t really sell high end bags. This was my first time finding Harvey. Just excited!!

With those stains try fragrance free baby wipes. Wipe, scrub and then put the wipe on the stain with light weight on it for a few minutes. Also, "Grandmas Secret Spot Remover" is fabulous.

As usual another great haul. I wanted those slippers! Nice Tarek Ediz is a Turkish designer… expensive. You got a great deal … I just cleaned my long champ using and small brush( like tooth brush) and dishwashing soap.

As a pre-teen we used those fun floral suitcases to pack for PJ parties. Out-of-town, over the Thanksgiving weekend, I scored a haul of pre-loved clothing at a boutique having a half price sale. The shop had those same style suitcases I would have loved to buy but they were props! How funny you found one this week.

Many years ago I bought a current season, $600 Coach bag, still with the Neiman Marcus tags on it, at a consignment shop. I asked the shop owner why this was on consignment, when the person could have just returned it to Neiman Marcus. Her answer was, “there are certain people who simply do not make returns.” Weird to me but okay. I imagine it’s something similar when people donate expensive items to thrift stores - selling it themselves is just something they don’t care to do…

The Dior mens 1/2 button is totally 70s - I remember Curt wanting one... PUT THAT DOWN! lol. "Brushed" cotton was a popular fabric for both tops and bottoms in the late 70s, felt like a cross between flannel and velour. Nice haul, looked like you had a lot of fun. and that my dear is where it's at. xoxo

Thanks love. I think the Marine Layer piece I found may be a slow mover. It's a really nice basic, but plain. I'll probably price it at $28 and hope that I can move it for $20.

I went to savers yesterday and found some pretty good stuff. Was tired and didn't feel like going to goodwill as well. Instinct said I should just go. Omg, they literally brought out a new rack when I got there full of high end Cashmere sweater and Alpaca sweaters!!! I literally emptied the rack 😂😂😂. Nothing like a good day of thrifting!!! Nice haul!!!

I just got a Longchamp black bag at the bins and the corners were a little worn but it sold within a week for $40 so that is such a great return. Yours is way nicer. At my bins I probably paid like .50 cents!!

I picked up a bright flower power suitcase about 7 years ago and it still had the price sticker inside so don't believe it was ever carried. I bought it to use, but have not and now that I resell, that is probably what I will do. I curious to see what yours sells for. That black dress reminds me of Chiara Boni LaPetite....As usual I learned at least 2 new brands today to be on the look out for. I am always thrilled that I seem to find something within a couple weeks of learning the brand!!!

Savers didn't mark up the Levis wedgie skinnies bc they, unlike you, DID run comps ahhahaha. Sorry, Lori😅 I can't give away the two pairs i've had for a year, not even being size 32!

Haha! I think they must have! Damn...it doesn't feel like it was that long ago the the Wedgie...ANYTHING did so well!! I think the reason they don't do well in larger sizes is because they have very little to no stretch. I've tried to squeeze into them! Lol!
