After watching the bowl games I do like Abdul Carter and I also like Riley Leonard in the 3rd. He really seems like the leader among men with a good arm and great mobility.

It makes no sense for the Browns to pass on drafting a QB - they need to draft a qb because they are saddled with Watson’s contract. Paying a good free agent is not feasible. You say the Browns have to be sure it’s “the guy” - that’s just not true. You never know it’s “the guy.”

Trade down in the draft but not far down! Giants, raiders or saints will be looking for a qb get atleast another 2nd and 3rd depending on how far down! Jason dart remember that name! Can get him in the 2nd or even 3rd round! He is ready for the league and played against the sec which is usually nfl level defenses! Draft a OT with our first rd pick or the de from Penn state if he is still there or even the dB from that team up north in the 1st!

Let's say we swap with the Giants and get their 2026 first round pick in the deal. The Giants will probably be a 5-6 win team next year so that pick will be #6 or 7. We can use that pick to get Allar next year. We should get a veteran bridge QB on a 2 year deal with options and then draft the future QB next year. Stefanski knows how to develop QBs--that's been his path as a coach. He hasn't had much of an opportunity to do that since coming to the Browns. Yes, we took a 5th round flyer on DTR but he's just doesn't see the field well enough, but then expectations were low so no big deal. We buy a bridge. Sign some veteran talent and draft the balance to add youth and depth. 3 of the 4 teams behind us need a QB -- I assume Lawrence is staying--If we do the trade with NY, NE, JX, or LV we can pick up more value round picks and still get Carter at 3, 4, 5, or 6. If someone surprises us and takes Carter then we take Kelvin Banks and lock down Left Tackle. Some might say that's too high a pick for a LT but that's the hub of the O-line.
